NARPS Inc. provides administrative, regulatory or radiation safety officer (RSO) support in Nuclear Medicine. We help our clients to be compliant with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or local State agencies by reviewing their radiation safety programs. After reviews, we also provide our clients with a copy of the report, a summary, review results and corrective action recommendations. We provide the following:
- Attendance and contribution to Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) meetings
- Fetal Radiation Dose Estimation
- License applications for renewal and amendment
- Radiation safety in-service
- Regulatory compliance audits per NRC or State level
- Review of personnel Dosimetry / ALARA program
- Review of policy / procedure manual per TJC, HFAP and ACR
- Review and audit of Written Directive program
- Review and development of Radiation Safety Program
- Sealed source inventory and/or leak testing (NRC Licensed)
- Survey meter repair and providing loaners to maintain quality service
- Quarterly testing of SPECT or SPECT/ CT devices & phantom
- Testing of Planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT and PET/CT systems for acceptance
- Instrumentation review, calibration and quality assurance of the following devices:
- Dose Calibrators
- Gamma Cameras (Planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT)
- PET and PET/CT Systems
- Survey Meters (NRC Licensed)
- Well Counters and Uptake Probes
